Directions
From the North:
You can take Hwy 1 south to Warkworth, turning left at the first set of
traffic lights, or for a more scenic drive you can take the Wellsford
turnoff towards Pakiri. This route is not recommended for caravans or
large vehicles as it is gravel most of the route, and is often narrow and
winding.
From Auckland:
Take Hwy 1 north to the end of the motorway at Puhoi (note that the motorway is a toll road from Orewa to Puhoi. See the Land Transport website for tolls and instructions for payment), and continue on to Warkworth. At the second set of traffic lights in Warkworth, turn right and follow the signs 22km to Leigh.

Once in Leigh, you won't be able to miss the Carnival. The school is on the main street through the village, next to the fire station and across from the Leigh Café.
